Timing Belt

Most of today’s engines use timing belts which have limited life spans. Car manufacturers use belts instead of chains to reduce the engine's running noise. Your vehicle’s owner manual will recommend at what mileage interval the timing belt must be replaced.

Although the belt itself isn’t expensive, specialized tools and skills are normally required to replace it. Failure to replace the belt can lead to major engine damage. At Mike’s we have the tools and specialized skills needed to properly service your timing belt.
